Halloween Art by DeadSpider

I stumbled upon her work while randomly browsing Etsy.com and was immediately impressed with the rustic feel and detail of her creations. On the other hand, the photographer in me recognized the obvious effort put into her store’s product photography. They say a picture is worth a thousand words, in this case that old saying is an understatement. Her “Witch Curio Potion Bottle Labels” instantly turn any plain old bottle into a creepy container, and her “Macabre Magnets” will surely give your fridge Halloween flare and freakishness. In addition to labels, she also sells fully completed potion bottles (labels and potion included).

After seeing her Etsy store, I immediately contacted her to find out if I could feature her work on HalloweenCenter. It turns out that there is more to DeadSpider then I initially thought. Beyond the macabre magnets and potion bottle labels, DeadSpider is the very reason I created HalloweenCenter. A self proclaimed Halloween fanatic, her artistic abilities bleed into spooky prop design using mediums like paper mache, plasticine clay, resin, foam and paperclay. Look for yourself and you’ll agree that her work is worthy of being featured in the best haunted houses, or even in Hollywood horror flicks. If you really enjoy what you see, be sure to visit her personal blog for more details on her wicked projects. Her blog discusses the various methods and mediums used to create her art, so if you are an aspiring dark artist, DeadSpider’s site may be a good resource to get you on the right track! Take a look at some of these creations!
